Description:
As a QA Engineer, you'll play a key role in safeguarding the quality of everything we ship. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding business requirements, functional specifications, and application workflows.
  • Preparing comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
  • Performing manual testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Validating new features and ensuring existing functionality continues to work as expected.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Zoho Sprints.
  • Retesting resolved defects and verifying fixes before closure.
  • Executing Functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support as required.
  • Collaborating closely with developers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Participating in release validation and production issue verification.
  • Maintaining test execution reports and defect reports, and providing regular testing status updates.
  • Contributing to improving testing processes and quality standards.
Details:
To succeed in this role, you'll bring the following experience and skills:

  • A strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
  • Good knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Experience in identifying, documenting, and analyzing software defects.
  • Exposure to API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA or Zoho Sprints.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
